Yesterday, Saturday 30th September 2023 saw our annual Macmillan Coffee Morning in the village of Praze an Beeble, near Camborne, where for one Saturday only some of the HMS Shipshape crew done the exercise gear and helped on our annual charity event for Macmillan Cancer Support.
It was the first year of hosting in at the local St Aubyn Arms village pub where they kindly donated all the refreshments. As a result it was well attended and lovely to see so many people in the local community coming together to have a cuppa, cake and a natter supporting an extremely important cause.
A big thanks to everyone that donated, helped with the leaflet distribution, baked cakes and helped out at the event itself.
A massive community achievement and success raising £265 in just two hours for Macmillan Cancer Support!
