Celebrating 10 years and a decade of dance fitness and community building in the duchy!
Free events to encourage wider community participation and a chance to see how dance exercise can be fun and friendly for all. No need to worry about finance, what your wearing, and whether you will fit in and follow the moves because everyone from the instructor to the group are approachable, non-judgemental in allowing yourself to be free whilst forgetting about the outside world and its challenges for a moment.
Afterwards we will be celebrating our efforts and 10th birthday celebrations with a cuppa (cake or biscuit) and a chance to sit back, relax and enjoy a chat and hopefully meet some new people. Afterwards we want you to be feeling more confident, joyous with future contacts and ideas for building on your health and wellbeing.
Event outline:
- Maximum one hour HMS Shipshape Dance Fitness class with the option for plenty of breaks and to participate as much or as little as you like.
- Post one hour coffee, biscuit or cake catch up to meet new people, ask any questions (should you have any) and hopefully make some new contacts.
Pre-booking is essential via our ticket platform and if you’re participating in any form of exercise, then a health and safety pre-screening and completion of a questionnaire must be done to ensure that your participation is as safe and enjoyable as possible. This can be done via the online link or if you would prefer by written hand copy on the day of the event.
As there are refreshments involved, although we cannot 100% guarantee fully that any food/drink prepared for the event is free from any dietary requirements, in the interests of your health and safety on the health screening form, please let us know of any allergies etc so that we are aware for information.
